Sustainability

How I run my sustainable copywriting business

There’s No Planet B

Climate change is here, folks. It’s happening and - despite billionaires and their ridiculous space race - there’s no Planet B.

I’ve been climate-conscious for as long as I can remember, so it makes sense that as well as living a sustainable life, I run a sustainable business.

Here’s how I do that:

  • I’m paperless

  • I work from home

  • I bank with Starling

  • I have a sustainable pension with Penfold

  • I plant 10 trees every month with Ecologi (check my counter down below!)

  • I use Ecosia for personal searching (gotta use Google for work I’m afraid)

  • I design and print my business cards using Canva (who are carbon neutral, use sustainable materials, and plant a tree for every print)

An image of a solar panel farm surrounded by fields. White writing says 'Proud to be working with Ecologi' on the top of the image.

And in our personal lives - we’re vegan (which is one of the best things you can do for the planet) and build our meals around the rescued fruit and veg we get from Odd Box every two weeks.

There are also the things that go without saying, like turning lights off when we leave the room, turning the tap off when we brush our teeth, etc..

Sustainable business?

Doing good for the planet?

Work with someone who’s doing the do. I don’t just talk about sustainability, I live my life and run my business sustainably.

I’m on the same page as you and would love to work with you.

This counter updates once a month. I also have a cute profile page if you want to view it, and a referral code that plants another 30 trees each if you join with it. So get going!
