About me

Why hello there

I’m Jade, writer of down to earth words for social change, and I’m based in Manchester.

I could be writing anything but I need to be doing work that has meaning and makes a difference because I hate injustice with a passion. I believe our society should be equitable for all so I use my copy and content writing to educate people and inspire tangible, meaningful change.

I'm uniquely placed to combine my lived experience with over 4 years of copywriting and digital marketing experience — so as a working-class, autistic, vegan woman I’m particularly keen to work with social mobility, neurodivergent, and women’s charities as well as vegan businesses.

In a previous digital marketing role at a non-profit I used to design and create webpages (and I built this very website) so I know how important it is that copy and layout work together. I tend to make recommendations around this, amongst other things, when we work together (as long as you’re open to it).

I got an 89 for the 10,000-word dissertation I wrote on everyday sexism and street harassment for my Sociology and Politics degree — long-form content is one of my faves — but it’s not all I do and you can find out more on my Services page.
