Copy and content writing

Using my words to achieve your goals

Say the right things

in the right way

So, firstly, copy and content are two different things. It’s fine if you didn’t know that, but it means you might need my help.

Copy drives sales, whereas content educates or inspires 💡

Being different things, they need to be written in different ways - not something everyone can do. But you’ve struck gold here because I write both.

Sometimes it’s hard to convince people they need a copywriter or a content writer, but it’s an excellent investment to make. We know exactly how to write for your audience, saying the right things in the right way to get them to click ‘buy’ or keep them engaged and coming back for more.

Content marketing

Content is king. It’s a great way to increase traffic to your website while engaging and educating your audience.

And, unlike with paid ads, your content sits on your website and gets ranked by search engines continuously. But ads? When the money stops, the leads stop.

With my content packages, I write content for your business every month for either 6 or 12 months. I only offer this on long-term retainers because it’s the best for you - you won’t see results in only 1 or 2 months, but you absolutely will after 6. Can you imagine the magic after 12? ✨

Leave your content marketing to me so you can spend your time on the bits of your business you do best.

Why regular content?

  • Increase traffic to your website

    • Therefore increasing leads

How we work together

  • Either via email, direct message, or a free 15 minute discovery call.

You tell me about the project - I let you know if I can help.

  • I have a project briefing form that tells me about the project, about you, your business, what you do, why you do it, what makes you different etc.

The form is either filled in by you or we have a call to talk through it and I complete the form - whatever your preference is.

But either way these questions need to be answered - the more I know the better I can write for/about you.

  • I draw up a contract based on what’s been discussed/what’s in the project briefing form. You review and either ask for edits or sign.

Project work only starts once the contract has been signed and the 50% down payment has been received. For retainer clients, work starts once the contract has been signed and the first month’s payment has been received.

This safeguards me against time wasters or people who can’t/don’t want to pay. Unfortunately they are out there.

  • Once payment has been made I start work. You can read more about my writing process above/below.

I deliver the work as agreed in the contract, usually via Google Docs, and you get two rounds of revisions included - use them wisely!

  • I deliver the first draft and you feed back. Constructive criticism is encouraged - I want this to be everything you want it to be.

I go away and make any changes, provided they’re in the scope of the work, then the above then happens again for the second draft.

If you don’t have time to feed back or can’t give me useful, actionable feedback then we won’t be a good fit. More on that here.

  • The final draft and invoice is given to you at the same time (or the final invoice is sent 2 weeks after the first draft has been delivered if you haven’t replied to me by then).

I’m self-employed and I have bills to pay - delayed payments can really mess that up and cause a lot of stress.
